In February I was thrilled to learn that I had been named to Twitter’s Top 75 Badass Women. Every Tuesday, I’m going to explore what marketing lessons can be learned from my fellow BAs and share them here.
In describing Twitter to non-users, I like to use the analogy of a radio. You select people to follow, you can further select by list (like programming the pre-set buttons on your car radio), and you keep in mind that the stream moves even when you are not listening.
Kathy Meyer (known on Twitter as @2cre8) is, for me, a pre-set selection on the radio. I’ve been following her for a long, long time. Long before #BA75. If all that’s good about Twitter were reflected by a collection of avatars, Kathy Meyer’s pretty smile would be a part of that collection. It’s people like Kathy that make Twitter delightful for me. Ok…for me and about 11,080 others.
Kathy shares information about a wide variety of topics. I always find a lot that is useful to me, and even better, I find a lot of information that is useful for my clients.
