A summary of things that caught my interest this week:
A Two-fer from @MargieClayman and both posts absolutely delighted me. First, Are You Like George Harrison? – as always any reference to The Beatles grabs my undivided attention. The second is How to Blog Like Keyser Soze. Margie’s been running a clinic on great, attention-grabbing titles and good, solid content.
Speaking of Rock Stars…there was this fascinating read in the WSJ “When to Leave the Stage.” Even if you don’t read the entire article – be sure to scroll down to see young vs. old Flock of Seagulls guy.
This is my latest discovery – crack cocaine like reading at the AV Club. I don’t waste enough time watching TV, so it’s great to have a website where I can also read about the shows I’ve already watched. <– that was sarcasm. But absolutely no sarcasm when I say that the writing is excellent.
More good solid advice Duct Tape Style, in John Jantsch’s “How to Use New Rules and New Tools to Create a Media Storm.”
Good advice for all types of businesses and organizations “Simple Email Marketing for Nonprofits” by @PamelaGrow.
And finally, this super cool look at the Scale of the Universe. Enjoy!!!
